My Story

I’ve known what it’s like to feel the weight of loneliness, to think I’m the only one struggling while everyone else appears to be thriving. I’ve experienced moments of unhappiness, surrounded by seemingly cheerful faces. But through introspection and sharing, I discovered something important: I’m not alone in these feelings. We often live in a world that showcases happiness on the surface, masking the deeper struggles we all face. It’s this realisation that fuels my passion.

My journey as a psychologist began with a deep desire to burst the bubble of perceived happiness and break the cycle of silent suffering. Loneliness is a universal human experience, but it shouldn’t be a permanent state.

Both, my organisation and I am committed to being the guiding light that leads individuals out of isolation and into a place of connection and understanding. In the grand scheme of things, our world is one vast family, and I’m dedicated to making it a bit more compassionate, one person at a time.

With a background in clinical psychology and training in multicultural counselling and trauma sensitivity, I bring a wealth of knowledge to my practice. I’ve spent over a year in practising psychotherapy, utilising a diverse range of techniques, with a particular emphasis on mindfulness and self-discovery. What sets me apart is my commitment to personalising my approach according to your unique needs. My approach is eclectic, drawing from various therapeutic methods, and my strengths lie in empathy, keen attention to detail, active listening, and boundless compassion. I am queer-affirmative and committed to creating a safe and inclusive space for all. Let’s embark on a journey together towards healing, growth, and a deeper connection with your authentic self.

My Guiding Principles

In my practice, I believe change begins with you. I’m here to provide you with the support and tools you need to grow and discover your best self. I hold kindness, accountability, and ownership as values close to heart. These values create an environment of authenticity, where you can connect with yourself and others on a deep level. I’m committed to ongoing learning, which means you’ll benefit from the latest insights and techniques in mental health and wellness. Together, we’ll focus on steady, lasting progress rather than relying on short bursts of motivation.
You’ll also discover the power of your actions on your emotions. Through purposeful choices and thoughtful guidance, you’ll gain the ability to shape your own well-being.
These principles are the foundation of my practice, designed to empower you on your journey to a more fulfilling and joyful life.
